Project Description

The design brief was to design a store for the display of sanitary fittings and tiles. The challenge here was that the given space was extremely linear, measuring 200’x28’. The design intent was to create different zones housing different elements to break down the linearity of the space.
Towards the centre, a layered system of veneer and white has been created to showcase the premium sanitaryware. The rich grains of wood provide a pleasing contrast against the shiny ceramic products.
The colour pallette consists predominantly of tones of grey, forming a muted canvas against which the showcased products become the focus points. Chairs in neon shades add a playful touch. The exposed concrete ceiling with industrial lights add a contrasting raw essence.
